Recipe of French toast
Ingredients:
4 slices of bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of cinnamon (optional)
butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
In a shallow dish, beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon (if using).
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are evenly coated.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter or oil.
Once the skillet is hot, add the slices of bread and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, or fruit as desired.
