Recipe for khaman dhokla

  Khaman Dokla is a popular Gujarati snack made from gram flour (besan) and yogurt. Here is a simple recipe for making it: Ingredients: 2 cups gram flour (besan) 1 cup yogurt 1/2 cup water 1 tsp ginger-green chili paste 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp fruit salt (such as Eno) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Oil for greasing Water for steaming Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, yogurt, water, ginger-green chili paste, sugar, salt, turmeric powder, and mix well to make a smooth batter. Cover and rest the batter for at least 30 minutes. Grease a plate or tray with oil. Add fruit salt to the batter and mix well. Pour the batter into the greased tray and steam for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let it cool for 5 minutes and then cut into square pieces. Serve hot or warm with green chutney or tamarind chutney. Enjoy your Khaman Dokla !

Recipe of French toast

 Ingredients: 4 slices of bread 2 eggs 1/2 cup of milk 1 tsp of sugar 1 tsp of vanilla extract 1/4 tsp of cinnamon (optional) butter or oil for cooking Instructions: In a shallow dish, beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon (if using). Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are evenly coated. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter or oil. Once the skillet is hot, add the slices of bread and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with syrup, powdered sugar, or fruit as desired.
